PV GreenCard Practical Only Reassessment

This event constitutes a reassessment opportunity for individuals who have previously not met the required standards in the Solar PV GreenCard Assessment.
Focused solely on the **practical components**, this reassessment evaluates hands-on competency in installing and understanding solar PV systems.

Requirements:

• •Assessment will be conducted in English.
• •Only students who previously failed the practical component of the Solar PV GreenCard Assessment are eligible.
• •Applicants must be physically fit to perform installation tasks.
• •Basic tool handling and electrical installation knowledge is advantageous.

Preparation:

• • Prepare for the PV GreenCard Assessment with the accredited 5-day SAPVIA PV GreenCard Training.

Practical Assessment

• •Practical Mounting Exam: Mounting of Rails and Modules.
• •Practical Electrical Exam: Installation of grid-tied PV system DB.
• •Practical Theory Exam: Individual practical theory test to evaluate your system design knowledge.

Scoring Breakdown:

• •A final mark of 80% is required to pass the exam.
• •Theory accounts for 42% of the total mark.
• •Practical accounts for 58% of the total mark.
